Personally, I think you should ask her if she wants to get a place together first. Marriage can be a tricky situation sometimes. My father always said you only get married when you're ready to have kids. Try living with her first. See if that works out. Sometimes marriage fails because new characteristics of people arise when you actually live with them. Dont rush into anything! Just a womans side of it.

well about the living together I been living with her in our shared apartment for 5 months now,

another thing I gotta say is Im romanian, all romanians get married at about 22-24, its just a tradition I guess, my dad got married at 21, and he has been married for 22 years now

ill be out of school, promoted at my job,

idk, im debating wether to hold off asking for like 6-12 months, a long engagement is already ok with both of us

 

If you want to propose do it. You've already said that you plan on being engaged for some time. Don't let people scare you off by saying to wait until your older. Do what your heart and mind are telling you to do. Just my .2 cents!
