pretty much. buy rounds or cases of beer and chill and the guys are happy. play hourless games of pong and your good.
girls you have to go that little extra for them to feel special.

i wouldn't buy my black friends bed sheets
my white friends basketballs
and my asian friends.... basketballs or bedsheets

whatever money i have goes to my sister.

no. the you dont buy me one i dont buy you one rule is def in effect

errr... about even. cuz i have more lady friends than family. but family is more important.

anything is appropriate. whatever puts a smile on a face.

everyone should give me what i want. everyone else gets whatever i want to give them.

when i can. new or used stuff... i donate cell phones... and buy then food and toys for christmas

sure. you wrap up a box and have it say... this is a gift you can never open. because it's full of love or some bull like that. i learned that from psychology class.

pleasure. duty when they got you something on your birthday and you dont like them.

1. Why do you buy gifts? In part because there are people I like and want to express those feelings. Culturally, it is expected.


2. Who do you give gifts to? close family and very close friends, a charity here and there as well.


3. When do you give gifts? Around christmas time, birthdays, graduations, housewarmings, parties (favors)


4. How do you decide who gets what gifts? Most of the time, a gift for a particular person presents itself...

5. What makes gift giving important? It makes me feel good, offsets my intrinsic selfishness for a short time.

7. Do you give different gifts based on sex? As much as giving gifts based on other personal traits/history

9. Does cost effect what gift you buy a person? yes, I have a budget, the closer the person, the bigger the price tag.
