Default Help please?

Someone give me some advice or ideas or anything on top of your head?

Back in June...My co-worker was deeply in need for a roommate to split a apartment three ways: Him, his girlfriend, and whoever.

Please remember; I never signed any lease except for a college dorm. So I never been on my own.

At the time I thought it was okay idea (Bullsh!t!!) to offer. So I knew they will have serious problem finding a place around here that will allow dogs for $600.00s. We decided on $900.00's. They found a place alone without me and decide apply for a lease again without telling me until few days later. Never bothered to call me "Hey Andrea, you should see this place! Come by now. You can see it too" I still haven't seen the apartment even after I applied for credit check. Turns out my credit score got us in there in the first place. Couple days later, I get phone call stating we got the apartment (While my head is screaming don't do it but I don't listen cause I'm going through some major family problems.)

Few days later, they fill out the lease already without telling me once again. Then he told me "You have to go to the apartment manager office to fill out the lease." I said "Okay" and I figured to go see the place before signing the lease alone. But here's what I like to call "Used Car Salesman trick." "I figured we can all go together and you can sign the lease" while my head is screaming "I'm old enough and I know where these apartments are at." I reply back "I know where it's at. I can drive myself." He replies back "We can go together and get our keys." Kept pressuring me until I said "Yeah."

We get there and I'm totally regretting all the way but of course I'm going to do...if I have no ride? So they throw the lease at me and they never stated I seen the apartment while I'm wanting to get this over with. So I was basically thrown in a position of no choice unless I screamed "Fu*k no!" I signed the lease.

First time I see the apartment, not worth $900 bucks! Second bedroom which would of been mine. Was very tiny, probably wouldn't fit my full size bed, two dressers. No garage, no parking space...I get stuck with open parking. Yet I'm the reason why we're there.

-Month passes, can't move in cause I'm having problem with moving in. Getting truck and packing my stuff. I pay July's rent.
-August comes along, pay my rent. All of sudden Toyota Financial is late. Haven't move in yet. But I do have few things in there like OEM parts in boxes.
-September comes along, flat tire. Paid 180s of rent for a new tire while I'm still not moved in. I couldn't afford the whole rent. So I hang on to it. Few weeks later, my roommate pays for it. I pay him back.
-October comes long; my credit card bills minimal balance doubles not including late charge fees. Car insurance almost gets dropped; had to pay extra month ahead to keep policy. Still haven't moved in yet. I'm working two jobs trying to get everything back on track...all of sudden depression hits me like ton of bricks. I have mental break down, ditched work without calling in.
-November decided to not pay rent cause I don't care because I'm watching my beautiful 640 credit score fall faster than I never realize it could. Credit card bills are not made for second month in a row while Toyota is getting more so I least have something green on my score and car won't get taken away. At this point, I'm not sure about moving in or not. But on the safe side, I decided to take back all of my things that I could fit in my car. I do think it's interesting at the fact I always left the closet door close at all times when I was there but some how they were opened. That was sign #1 I'm not doing it. I am not going to move into place if my stuff has been looked through.
-December lets just say I said "Fu*k you; you're on your own." Didn't pay rent again cause people around me are saying don't bother. While my sister is telling me break the lease. Because of my "Fu*k you" ways I've been actually much happier. We get a eviction notice and I don’t even bother.

Five things:
1. My roommate/co-worker came into work one day and threw the eviction notice at me at work within minutes I punched in. Told me what happened. I think that can qualify for harassment and I could take that to HR. Cause before and after work are more proper times to bring that up not company time.
2. Even if I wasn’t living there some how I got stuck paying the water and sewer bill. Even if it was only 10 bucks, I shouldn’t be paying for it. So I didn’t. The bill got up to $60.00's.
3. I helped them move right? The house they were living in was unkept, not clean, dog **** everywhere. Since this house is somewhat down the street from me, I see the house is well kept and clean. You can see the living room and new paint on the walls. So I’m guessing the friend who owned the house wanted them out. Thought that was good way. I heard stories about this friend hated their dog. Cause he was barking at everything.
4. I spend the night over there for two nights. Watched their dog. He barked at everything. I remember asking the roommate “Does management know about him?” He said “No. We haven’t turned in the form. I don’t have the money.” I don’t think he never did.
5.My credit card total is around 3,700 when it was 2,300 while I forgot to pay my student loans cause they were thrown in the credit card pile. Student loans are on track.


Now I'm being taken to court for back rent. Here's the kicker, I told the messenger for the court case notice to drop it off last Sunday. He never did. I found out the court date and time from public Wisconsin court site. My friend stated they might of done this on purpose to screw me over. Any thoughts? By the way, I'm not letting go of my car just to save their a$$es cause last time I checked November 29 2006 was sooner than July XX, 2007.

They wanted me to fill out a form to get me off the lease...they never did. So they better not forge my signature or I'm taking them to court with my grandfather's lawyer friends. Last time I check that could follow under federal law.

Wow, What a pickle you allowed yourself to become a part of?
You need to watch more Peoples Court and Judge Judy. You never sign a lease without thoroughly checking out the whole place and if possible having the lease read by a lawyer.
It sucks that your credit is gonna take a hit but this is one of those lifes lessons I'm affraid. Hope it works out ok and Happy New Year.

I would never take it to court,,,,, it just waste a time for a small amount of money..
Since you signed the lease.. You are still responsible to pay your portion of the rent no matter what happens to you.
The Best Way to Resolve is just borrow some money from your parents or relatives, and pay the back rents, and BREAK the LEASE agreement. and be free of this ____ty situation.

Thanks guys! You help me vent out.

Yeah I know I always get the rough end of the stick. My luck is always like that.

I think the total should be 1,000 and I better not see the _____ sue me for September or I'll snap, Cause I paid that in cash. I'll go to my bank and see if they can print me out all of my withdraws and their times within the pass few months. Cause I think it would be very dangrous for me to withdraw that 380-something at 11:00-ish at night at the ATM. I'm not in the mood to fu*k with cause right now I might be crazy and stupid enough to break some necks if I have to.
