I don't think so.......but maybe......he is really good at telling if their's a broken clock...huh. You may be right. I don't know.

It doesn't matter, she's dead anyways.

But who is his dad?

Sylar stole Telekinesis from the guy that he called behind Mohinder's father. Remember how he saw the name Sylar on a watch and told a guy that was his name? That was the man he killed and took the telekinesis from.

Sylar's power has to do with seeing how "things work" and being able to replicate/copy/assimilate that into himself.

Ya, maybe that's why he feels he needs to take all these powers (besides the fact that he's insane)...because he needs to make himself work better.....maybe....I could be stretching it....in fact....I probably am.

Sylar has the power to see what's wrong with stuff and how stuff works instantly. That's how he fixes watches and how he was able to see how to take other's powers.

The only reason I can see him cutting the skull is to see how the brain works, just like opening a watch up. I don't think he's a brain eater.

On the other hand I'm not entirely sure he even needs to be killing people to see there powers, but I'm probably wrong about that.

I think he eats their brains....yup....like a zombie....

haha!!

But you may be right...just to see how it works, and then makes his own work like that. But I don't see why he would open them either....he should be able to see through it. Huh. We'll see.

He doesn't have to open them up to see how they work, just like he doesn't need to open a clock/watch to see what's wrong with it. He simply knows these things. So far it is unmentioned exactly how he takes the powers, but it does appear to have something to do with the victim's brains. Whether he eats them, or simply rewires his to match theirs is undefined. Although I think he needs to physically take in their DNA in order to do it, or maybe rewiring his own brain is part of his ability.

THis sounds the most plausible...The person he should be trying to "rob" is Peter...since Sylar was talking like he was remorseful about killing everyone if he took one more life, he could get everyones power just by being near them, instead of whatever he does with the brain/head open.

The first thing I thought of, after Sylar collapsed from Hiro's sword was, "HAVEN'T YOU PEOPLE SEEN ANY HORROR MOVIES?!?!?!! HE'S NOT DEAD, MORE SLICE AND DICE!"

boy, hallalujeah! Always make sure to shoot the badguy / serial killer / ax murderer in the head when he's "down". Preferrably, you should keep shooting them in the head until you can SEE brains oozing out. You know though, if someone had gotten close to Sylar to try to REALLY make sure he was finished, he would have just popped right back into conciousness and TK'd them off into the wild blue yonder.

why doen't peter fly himself when he gets glowy? Are we playing with star trek romulan rules of not being able to use 2 powers at once?

I'm a fan of sperating the head, arms, legs, and torso. Then, incasing each one in coffin of concrete, and dropping the head off in the Marianas Trench, putting the torso on the next shuttle trip out of here only to be sent adrift by the robotic arm towards the sun, and then leaving the limbs in various volcanos across the globe.
