Default hitchhiking

i saw a hitchhiker (middle-aged guy, if it was a damsel in distress i would have done my chivalrous duty) on the side of the road at the junction from i70 east and 270 south and was wondering if anybody has actually picked up a hitchhiker or gone hitchhiking themselves?

Always thought about it, but then with any possible future stabbings that may happen Ive never done so. Even if it was a lady.

It's really sad, but you have to be so careful and suspisious nowadays. I would never hitchhike myself because you never know what kind of wingnut might pick you up. With that in mind, it makes me wonder about the people who do hitchike.

Hitch-hiking is on the list of things I would love to do. I spent a week out in Cali for vacation and thought about dong it for the sake of adventure. Then my friend came home and I had no reason to search for a ride. He spoiled it for me.
