Honda Ruckus FTW!!!!!!
I am seriously thinking about getting one of these bad boys! 2100 and ready to go. Kinda reminds me of Dumb and Dumber, but for some reason this scooter is really appealing to me. JDM meets off road in a way I look at it. Does anyone here on SL know anyone or have one of these. I just dont want to make a dumb purchase. For those that dont know what the Honda Ruckus looks like here it is

I saw a scooter in the parking lot of the movie theater the other day and it had the first spot. Me and my friends were tempted to pick it up and move it onto the curb because it was a waste of a parking space. We didn't, instead we parked as close as possible to the 911 GT3 that was parked on the opposite end of the lot.
I'd rather just ride a bike or get a dirtbike for road use.

not to thread jack but just my 2 cents:
go test it out, i think you'll find it to be just too slow for the main roads (the 45/50mph speed limit ones). i test drove one a few months ago and it just didnt have enough pep for the roads near my house. 49cc four stroke = sluuuuugish. stick with a 2-stroke for such a small size engine.
i went with an '08 Yamaha Zuma, gets up to 123mpg (ruckus gets 80-90 max) and it has a generously higher top speed. Acceleration on it is a breeze as well. however if your town/city has a low speed limit maybe the ruckus will be perfect for you. but like i said, go try one out!
good luck on your decision! scooters are a blast, i ride mine all day on the weekends and during the weekdays as well if i has some small errands, saves a ton on gas.

also, for 2009 yamaha released a second, more powerful Zuma with a 4-stroke 125cc engine, it case you need to hit the highways. for only $800 bucks more, i wish i would've waited another 6 months to get it but i didn't know at the time =\

and last but not least, Aprilia makes a badass 49cc scooter that you may want to check out, but its priced at $3100....too expensive for a measly 49cc's in my opinion (you can get the 125cc Zuma for less than the Aprilia):

buy a used ninja 250.... that's what i did...
60+ mpg, plus you have the looks of a "sport" bike and not some ___ scooter....
i picked up a used 2006, with 4100 miles on it for 2500.... it was immaculate.. i'm sure you can find a used for less
check craigslist

Nah no worries, we can change this thread to scooters FTW! The only reason why I want the Ruckus is because the whole look of it. Plus brand new for 2k. Cant go wrong. I'm still in the works of convincing my wife to allow me to making this purchase. But this one you posted up looks pretty ill too. Oh and if I had a street bike, I wouldn't be posting this right now. lol. L.A. drivers = dead rider.
