The movie was straight trash. Yes, the first 40 minutes were pure ___ and *******; the rest was poor dialogue, bad scriptwriting, no-plotting; straight Gigli. The scenes seemed as if they were forced into action to prepare for horrible plots that would come up later in the film. Don't get me wrong, if you're going to see this movie, it is an excellent flick for witnessing blood, gore, and torture (Nothing too diabolical like they portrayed it in the commercials [Which was straight hypebeast BTW], just very conventional torturing.) But other than that, you will indeed leave this movie a couple thousand brain cells short and about 100 minutes of your life in debt.
Torture scenes *SPOILERS* (Highlight to read):
Josh wakes up with his hands and legs handcuffed to a chair. The Dutch surgeon walks into the room and drills Josh's leg with a power screwdriver, all the while Josh fully awake and screaming. He then gets a scalpel and cuts both of Josh's achilles tendons. Josh starts puking. THe surgeon finally uncuffs him and tells him he can go. Josh falls to the floor with both of his achilles slit wide open. As he barely crawls to the door, the surgeon slits his throat.
Paxton gets his hands and legs handcuffed to a chair by two behemoths. A different surgeon walks in and scares him by waving different surgical utensils in front of him (Scalpel, scissors, icepick-like device). He finally gets a chainsaw and cuts off two of his fingers, in the meantime "accidentally" cutting off his handcuffs as well. Paxton begins to puke. The surgeon slips on his puke and eventually gets sawed in half by his own chainsaw.
As Paxton escapes, he hears the screams of a Japanese girl he had met during his stay at the hostel. He runs to the room guided by the sound of her scream to find her getting her eye burned out by a welding torch. Paxton shoots her tormentor and kills him. Meanwhile, the girl's right side of her face is practically gone and dismembered with only a chunk of her eye hanging. Paxton proceeds to cut it off and as she screams in pain with yellow puss squirting out of her orbital.
The final torture scene leads Paxton to a public bathroom where the main surgeon unknowingly goes into. Paxton pushes him into a stall and proceeds to cut off the same two fingers that were sawed off from his own hand. He then grabs the surgeon's head and dries to drown him in the toilet. He finally lifts his head up and in the reflection of broken glass, Paxton slits his throat the same way the surgeon slit his friend, Josh's throat.
There are also several quick scenes where Paxton runs across the different torture rooms. Some I had good looks at and some were of a blur. One was of a human being hung in the air getting skinned alive, meanwhile getting beaten and whipped on their bare flesh.

man i saw it last night w/ a bunch of friends and it was pretty good. not too scary... more GORY. we all liked it tho. abunch of my friends are gonna watch it again.
all of Quentin Tarantinos movies are awesome! IMO.
hey did u guys hear that hes recutting kill bill one and two and reselling them as one movie?? he keeps finding ways to make more money outta these movies that were supposed to be one movie to begin with.jeez. but hey now he gets 3X the paper.
