I'm having problems with my hotmail. That is the only website that I can't go to right now. I know it's something wrong with my computer, but I don't know how to fix it. I can go to the login page, but when I click to login, a pop up comes up saying that the connection was refused when attempting to login to ........... Can somebody please help me?

Yes, and I can click on every button and link on that page and it will let me go to it, even the hotmail tab, but once I'm on that page I cant log in. I use Firefox and it tells me the connection was refused when attempting to login, and on internet explorer I can do all the same stuff, but when I log in the "The page cannot be displayed" page comes up.
have you tried deleting your cookies and cache??? or would you like me to send you a gmail invite??? also, you might can try to set up outlookexpress, outlook, or thunderbird to receive your email... i just tried using firefox, no issues... maybe if cleaning cookies and cache doesnt work, try flushing and registering your dns address... check any internet security settings, firefox has a allow and deny list, check in there too... hope you get it to work...
there's something wrong with the site I think. I can access via the computer, but cannot get my email on my phone (which is only 2 button clicks away). Just get the denial of service message.
well, i dont think it will solve it, but it wont hurt to try...
at the comand prompt type in the following:
ipconfig /flushdns
then type:
ipconfig /registerdns
i have seen issues accessing the hotmail website at one of the locations i have been working at, but theyre not supposed to be going there on the company network anyways, so i havent bothered trying to fix it... i go back tonight, i'll see if its still doing it and try to get it to work and i'll let you know what i find out...
