HOW MUCH IS GAS NEAR YOU???
Its actually alot of driving on Island. It s a good 2 hour drive from here to the navy base. People assume Island and think no where to drive. but its like 40 miles long. I would venture to say ALOT of people in the states dont drive 40 miles from home on a regular basis.
I would say my average milage per week is about the same here as in the states. Granted I wont have the occasional 400 mile trip to see my parents. but that was only 3-4 times a year anyhow.

Nick if it takes you 2 hours then you are def goin the WRONG way!
I remember when I lived there you couldn't get me to leave a party at the navy base to go to one at the AF base because 45 minutes was WAY too far, I now drive over an hour to work each way.
And I found gas this morning for
3.33
woot.
