i went to brownsville tx this weekend gas over there was $2.89

 

I work across the street from a gas station and me and my co-workers bet on the gas prices. everytime we see somebody come out to change the sign which happens a few times a day. we start making bets on if its going up or down and how much. its pretty pathetic but its also entertaining.

 

2.99 to 3.09 depends on where you go.

 

Paid 2.79 today

 

2.79 around the north side of houston

 

2.82 frisco

 

$3.55 average for 87 unleaded in the Honolulu area.

As the state has a Gas Cap Law, we are happy to hear that the Public Utilities Commission has approved a *decrease* of 50 cents of the wholesale gas price.

There is a 10 day 'lag' before the prices are affected and is based on spot prices from Los Angeles, the Gulf Coast and forgot the region/area on the East Coast.

This decrease will take effect (changes always take effect) on Mondays. This week, the wholesale price had been approved for an increase by 44 cents, so the 2 refineries on the island (Chevron and Tesoro) had raised their prices the maximum amount (even changing the prices 2x during the day).

We'll be seeing a lot of people putting gas on Monday mornings (if they can wait that long) for the lower prices...

 

i got 2.76 earlier this week!

I did it righ too, i filled up just before the price jumped from around 2.70 and I didn't have to fill up again till this week.
I missed the whole 3.00 thing! woohoo for me!

here in Springfield, MO... the price has PLUMETTED to $2.49gal today. I'm filling up both rides and hoping for the best.

2.34 less than a month ago it was 3.19, oklahoma is super crazy with the gas prices

 

$2.55 south texas! BUT since Mrs. RITA is on her way all the gas stations ran out of unleaded and mid-grade, So i had to fill up on Premium which was $2.75! Let me say my city is a ghost town now! she scared every1 off but me! Hopefully it will be going down after all this!
