Default How much are you guys getting?

I didn't know where else to post this thread.

My question is:
How much are you guys getting private party or from the dealerships for your cars?

i owe about $6500 on my 2004 xB and am thinking about trading it in or selling it for something with better gas mileage. I also don't want a car payment, so i want to buy a car outright.

Thanks in advance, guys

I think most people that sell their Scion's no longer view the site.

i highly doubt that.

there are a lot of local chapters with former scion owners, etc.

or people that sold their xB just to buy another one...

umm yeah.

my xB gets around 20MPG if i'm lucky.

the problem is an anemic motor and terrible aerodynamics. it's as streamlined as a broad facing wall.

if you read it, you would realize that it's a design flaw. and not the way that I drive. you can search and find COUNTLESS threads regarding the terrible gas mileage the xbs get.

EPA estimated MPG doesn't mean ANYTHING in real life...

I'm gonna disagree with the design flaw...I get 30mpg pretty much every tank of gas.. I drive on the highway and a lot around town as well...I know that there are MANY other people getting the same if not better. There are a FEW people who complain about bad gas mileage in the xB so one would think it's the way they drive...but since it's never ever the way they drive I'm starting to believe that their xBs are broke. Thats my hypothesis.

maybe you don't know how to calculate gas mileage..

the range i get in one tank of gas is 260 miles. and that's PUSHING it. i mean, going 20 something miles with the gas light on...

If you're getting 20 mpg in an xB, you must have that pedal glued to the floor or something. Gotta take your foot off the gas when you slow down, you know, if you just push the brakes, that's creating excessive wear. I get close to 20 mpg in my car, and it's engine is twice as big as yours.

you can get out of my thread, too.

i'm asking about xB's resale value, not MPG...

and i was being facetious with the "get out of my thread" comment.

i guess people don't have the thick skin that i'm used to IRL

listen, i'm asking about the xB's retail value, not what everyone's fuel economy. I certainly don't care for you to point out your motor size in my thread. But, I know your type... Big *****, right?
