I don't belong around a car with tools!
I thought I could install my new megan exhaust on my own but I was wrong. I think I spend 3 or 4 hours under there...
The midpipe fell and hit me in the head...which felt great! I think I tasted the metal through my skull.
I couldn't get the sping/bolt to connect the midpipe to the axel back section.
It's still not fitting right but I'm going to unbolt everthing and put it back together when I get back from chicago.
I understand megan made a version 2 of the drift spec...i guess I didn't get it. Hopefully it is though and I just did something wrong.
can i get a "DEE DEE DEE"?

ouch. did you end up fixing it?
once on my old car, i blew a few fuses trying to guess what color wires would match my aftermarket cd player wires. haha. that's when i learn you don't let the red one and black one touch. (=

LOL.
yeah, didn't think about that. There aren't that many scion owners in cola though. It wasn't that big of a deal....it's just an exhaust...isn't that the easiest bolt on to install? I guess I proved that wrong...haha...
The best way I have found to install exhaust systems is to leave evrything loose..Bolt all together but leave it loose.
once evrything is together, Start from the rear and adjust the rear section of the exhaust toline up with the exhaust notch in the bumper and begin tightening the rest back to the S-pipe.

haha yeah, but I don't think I was made to work in that department. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather leave it to someone who know's what they're doing. I don't want to mess up my car.
Its all a learning experience! Hell, you got it on right....One thing Ive learned...nevr rush it...I tried to install a front sway bar on a tC.....i was b!tching and moaning.....and then....I did another one and it was a snap!

You mean like don't try and put the TRD sway on when you've gotta be somewhere in a 1/2 hour?
