That's right. I don't. I think it's stupid - and getting out of hand...

But there was a specific point this week when I knew it was getting out of hand... I was listening to the radio here and the DJ actually said something to the effect of "check out my myspace page!" and actually gave his account over the radio.

I kind of wanted to pull the car over and rip my stereo out and throw it in the street.

But I didn't.

So anyways... who else DOESN'T have a MySpace account?

i really cant think of more than 0 reasons why someone would want one.

I don't have one and am totally against Xanga's, myspace, facebook, all that stupid ____. What happened to meeting people in the real world. Unfortunately my friends are forcing me into a myspace since our car club has a page and I guess its the only way to find out about anything. MEH Yea they are pretty pointless IMO.

 

I'm glad someone agrees with me. You know its gone too far when 15yr old girls sit in class and go "OMG! he like was totally checking out my myspace and commented me twice!" Myspace is teh gayness.

I can't stand MYSPACE. Are people really that lonely. Sad thing is, most of the people that chit-chat on myspace know one another and could just call each other. Pretty pointless.

Now before you throw stuff at me, hear me out. I'm severely hypocritical when it comes to MySpace. I hate the exposure the site has given to 14-year-olds, but at the same time, the convenience of finding just about everyone you know or knew from way back when is really cool.

I haven't talked to a majority of my high school friends in a good seven or so years since they've all moved away/got married and I'm still in our town. MySpace has helped me get in touch with people I haven't talked to in a long time. The majority of my friends list are those people who I've lost touch with and real life kinda gets in the way of them actually hopping a plane or picking up a phone.

I don't have a MySpace for a popularity status marker, and I agree with a lot of you that think MySpace is the breeding ground for people that don't know how to make a freakin' webpage. I've been coding HTML for almost eight years, so I know my way around Windows Notepad...and I like to think I have good taste on what a webpage should look like. This is just convenient for keeping me close to old friends I've lost touch with over time.

i don't have one but i make them up for my friends. i post their pics, create absurd likes and dislikes, invite odd friends, etc., then i tell them they have a my space account. they freak. it's funny.

jk, okay i did it once as a payback for something.

 

I won't use myspeck and refuse to go there. Most of the time the pages created there are among the top 10 ugliest sites available on the internet.

I do have a Myspace account - under an alias - that I don't bother to update or maintain in any way. The page does not have one bit of correct information on it in any of the specifics.

The reason I have it is so that I can look at other folks Myspace pages easily.

All mail to my account is caught by my mail filters and discarded - I do not respond to the numerous requests from others.

 

i use to not have one...but then my friends made me get one. its not that bad actaully. i met a lot of old friends from school that i hadnt talked to in years. and when ur bored, it makes time go by fast. u can express urself by putting your favorite music, pix, videos, etc... all u myspace haters dont like it because yall probably have no friends to add on ur myspace.

 

i dont have one. i think it's stupid. i dont need to see ugly naked people or any naked people for that matter. i don't need friends that i see everyday sending me messages when they are just going to tell me what they sent me anyway. i also don't need random people being my friend....
