Default I dun goof'd: XBOX360 Assistance Plz

Herro,

Here's my problem. Bought a 4GB version of the New 360 (big mistake, I know). Found out I don't even have enough memory to play Halo online. I do have my 160GB HD from my old 360.

Question is: If I buy that $10 or so Data transfer cable from Microsoft, will I essentially be able to use my old HD as the primary memory source in my XBOX or is that cable strictly for doing Data transfer? Will I absolutely need a new HD? Any recommendations on a good HD? Will this:
Amazon.com: OEM 320GB Internal Slim Hard Disk Drive for XBOX 360: Video Games Amazon.com: OEM 320GB Internal Slim Hard Disk Drive for XBOX 360: Video Games
be my only option?

Basically - what is my cheapest option? Will I only need that transfer cable or do I need to go out and buy a new HD as pictured above?

Thanks guys

I have the 4GB as well. I just used my old 120GB by removing it from the HD casing and installing it into the Xbox. There are videos on Youtube on how to do it. You'll need a special hex drive to remove the screws.

No problem. I'm not sure if I'd use a hammer though. Vibration might not be good for the drive.
