I like porter too, but it seems that most people don't.

 

Porter can be really bad too. I've had some that I wouldn't water my plant with. However, I can say that every vanilla or chocolate porter I have ever had has been decent at the least.

For those in or near Colorado, try New Belgium's 1554 as well as the O'dell's 90 Shilling. Both are darker beers with good flavor and no bitter aftertaste.

One last footnote, beer always tastes best at the brewery. King Matt will back me up here. I've toured Coors and Anheiser Busch countless times as well as Becks in Bremen. I've also hit my share of microbrewerys and brew pubs (probably your share too!). That's always some damn fine beer. There's a brewery near you, you should go, NOW!

Hmmm. I've spent a lot of time thinking about beer huh? Oh well, it has been worth it.

Jager= Jagermeister (not sure if my spelling is right but I don't care and im not looking it up). It is a licorice(sp?) tasting liqour

 

i love amberbock! that's all i've been drinking now. tiger beer is the shiz too and so is killians!

not really into ales or guiness type beers but i really love lager. don't know why, just do.

Spelling correct. I've had a few of those too. Technically in Germany Jagermeister and other liquors like it are referred to as "krauterliquor" or "herb liquors". The flavoring is primarily anis which is also used to flavor black licorice.

I'm down for a Captain and Diet when I hit S3 in Springfield, MO tonight, but only because I have yet to find a bar carrying ADMIRAL NELSON'S!!

heres something for yall to try. its a bermudian drink called Dark & Stormy. small glass of ice, mix half black rum(gosling's bermuda black rum) with half ginger beer(bermuda ginger beer).

 

Yeah, I'm supposed to be watching the weight! Suck.

yeah i had my first authentic dark and stormy last year when i went back to my home island of bermuda. drinkin age there is 18 what a joy! and my town that i live in florida is full of conveinient stores supporting the underage distribution of alcohol
