I have a third generation and i want a new one for my new tc, Where are the best prices, im looking at the nano and the video ipods, i need some help anyone selling one for cheap?????

 

i dunno my nano cost the regular 199 or whatever it is. from what i'm hearing they have mp3 players that cost alot less and hold alot more. ur basically just paying for the "ipod" name but i still love my ipod lol

there's not a lot of discounting on ipods out there. better off to go to an apple store and pay for it and have their warranty. I've got a 60gb iPod video and love it, prolly won't ever need to replace it

 

If you're a student at an Apple-authorized educational institute (or have a friend who is and would be willing to hook you up) you can get a decent discount that way...aside from the ed. discount or being an Apple employee, you're not going to find much of a discount on anything made by Apple.

 

I go to Cal State Fullerton and get a 10% discount on Apple products. If you want me to hook you up, PM me.

Also-check out refurbished iPods on the Apple website. There are some on there that are as good as new, but cheaper because they have the "refurbished" label.

 

You can buy only one iPod per school year...besides, anybody can buy it on the Apple Store website without proving that they're actually a student.
