or he could just give the ipod away, and then jack up dealer prep by $199.
don't tell me that hasn't been done b4 on freebies.

imo, people who buy the Ipod upgrade aready have Ipods and to be honest Ipod pricing is pretty regulated and you'll save a buck here and there. (WAL*MART buys a heck of a lot more than 50 at a time).

i'd suggest you work a deal at Itunes for free downloads with the purchase. these have no hard costs to anyone ('cept the talent who get boned by piracy) and it is more likely, imo, that you could swing a deal for "X amount of free downloads from Itunes" with the purchase of an Ipod ready connection. instead of overspending on the Ipod, you could buy songs at a fraction of the "advertised" cost and pass along a heck of a packet to a new tC owner. get on the phone...jk

jmo.

Give Apple a try - you might even be able to get them to co-market or support the advertising for you...

Good luck!

hi jason,

my company is an authorized reseller for apple products. i assume you're looking for something "cheap", so i would go with the 1GB or 2GB nano. you're buying 50+, i can set you up with the following costs:
qty-50+ 1gb nano - $135 each
qty-50+ 2gb nano - $175 each

i can get them in either black or white. i can do engraving or no engraving , but if you want a custom one for EVERY ipod, i'll have to charge you an extra $1 for each. if you want no engraving or the same engraving on every one, no extra charge.

if you're interested, pm me!

and this in no way is endorsing my company. just helping with jason's request.
