mazdaspeed3 is definitely up there.
a good, clean AE86 is another.
wrx or legacy are really good choices too.

Actually, on ebay motors, they have tanks for sale at reasonable prices. Definately less than $25k. When i was in high school i wanted to by this APC (armored personel carrier) and use it to haul my friends around in it to go toilet paper houses during homecoming. It had a drop down back hatch and could fit probly 15 or so people in it. Im kickin myself for not buying it cuz it went for like $8k. Would have been pretty sweet.
