Hey guys i have a question i want to know your guys opinion !

I am currently serving in Iraq and i'm coming back at the beggining of the fall.
Heres the deal, i have enough money now to set them aside and pretty much keep them so i can get wide rims and tires for my ride when i get back, BUT heres the problem !

Today i found out that my unit somehow got a deal worked out with DPMS Panther Arms and besically offering us BRAND NEW Panther AP4 Carbine at a price NOT offered to the general public PLUS they will ENGRAVE out units insignia ( i hate my unit ) for free !
I would love to own a brand new M4 that i will take to ranges and pretty much just be pimpin' my own weapon !

So my dillema is, should i save the denaros for rims or get a rifle ?

lol, come on man that option is not an option for me since i have way too much into my car and to start from scratch will not be cost efficient. I do want a different car. but not as a sports car but as a luxury car to drive around and i'm thinking about 2007-08 Infiniti M35x( AWD and great handling and luxury ).

so lets get back to the rifle or rims ?

You have a one time offer for a wicked good price for an wicked good gun, the wheels are going to be there and be the same price no matter when you decide to get them.

 

If it was me i would get the rims.. im not planning to shoot anybody lol.. but no, get the rifle man if its gonna something you would value through the years.. wheels are just wheels, like they said they will always be there you can get it later. oh yeah having a comfortable luxury car would be a nice pair with your tuner car

 

i don't know...who are you going to impress with a gun? guys at the gun range? plus the few women who go there maybe?

but if you pimp your car, you'll impress women everywhere you go! lol

 

Well, actually i'm not trying to impress anyone at the range or anything like that, if i get a gun i would get it for myself and my brother to have fun.

Rims for the car, i would get them to impress as anoyone as well as i was aiming for something affordable, low key and simple like MB gear or Weapons.. they are good wheels, wide and pretty much no show off in them just performance.


P.S. The price of the weapon is:

Brand new M4
Engraved unit's logo
Shipped to the closest gun store to Ft.Lewis for pick up after the deployment

AND

All of that is for $750.

 

yeeaaahhh I still vote gun.

And I go to the range all the time and I'd be impressed. Quantico Arms is probably going to be your best bet for getting it shipped to.

Ultimately go with whatever will make you happiest nobody here is going to be able to make that decision for you. I just think that if the gun is on super sale and the wheels are just their regular price it makes more sense to go for the gun as it wont be on super sale forever and the wheels will always be regular price, or hey, they might even go on super sale some day in the future.

Good luck with whatever you pick and it's cool that you're getting it for you and not just to impress someone, but impressing someone never hurts

Well of course that person should be impressed with who you are and not what you have, but sometimes it's nice to have a conversation starter of sorts I suppose. Not saying you personally need one or anything. Believe me I've had waaaaaayyyyy too many guys all up on my business at the stop light or the parking garage because of my car and those fellas are NOT the guys I want to take home to dad, but that doesn't mean it's not a fun conversation.

all that aside, I'm interested to see which way you go.
