Indian/Pakistani Food

Has anyone tried either of these ethnic foods?

I'm a meatetarian, so I'm NOT into vegetarian dishes. The reason I ask is cause a new I/P restaurant is opening near my job, so I'm kinda wanting to try it. Just not sure, so maybe some of you can help me out. Maybe pics aswell...thanks... :D

i am 80% sure that Indian food contains 0% meat

i am 0% sure about Pakistani food

indian food is surprisingly good. there are some dishes that has chicken in it. the potato and eggplant dish is very good.

Indian food definately has chicken. It's fantastic. If you like spicy food, you'll love indian food. Chicken and rice...Chicken Tikka is awesome.

Personally I love a lot of Indian and Pakistani foods - most of which I don't know the names of, but know on sight.

If you like a really hot dish, one of my absolute faves is a good lamb vindaloo (think stew),

Yes I do LOVE spicy food. Just unsure what to eat.

There's a lot of really good lamb dishes. Naan (the bread) is awesome.

Just watch out, you will smell like and sweat curry for a few days afterwards. Kind of awkward if you're going on a date.

i would say Chicken Tikka is great...if u wanna try somthing new try:
Sahi Dal w/ naan, it taste pretty gr8
Chole (White Chick Peas)

I highly suggest trying the tandoori chicken. If the food were going to mess with you, it would be the one thing on the menu that would be ok. It'll give you an idea of what level of spicy the food is. IMHO, indian food can't hold a candle to west indian food on the spice-o-meter. It just looks better on the plate.
