I was working on a project of mine and trashed my finger. Because of my freakish nature, I took a picture of the carnage and was suprised that EVERY person that I ran into wanted to see... I have yet to be flagged for anything here or anywhere else and I do not want to start... I figure I'd post a link to a gallery I have the pic posted and if you go there.. it is your deal... I also know I am not the only person with injuries.... lets see pics of your scars and stories...

Gnarly. My friend's dad almost cut his finger off with a carpet knife once. His solution? Duct tape it back together....

No, I'm not kidding. His finger is a little crooked now, but it works fine.

How'd you manage to do that?

When I was a kid I was playing on the see saw with my friend . My friend decide to get off meanwhile I was up in the air my seat came down so fast (i didnt have time to react) that my left hand pointer finger got caught under the seat and was smashed.. In a brief description of the carnage my finger nail was relocated 90 degrees to the right and since it was smashed my finger grew about an extra 2 " (due to the meat coming out).. Needless to say it a plastic surgeon to put it all back in the right places..

I tried Wakeskating last summer and was riding barefoot... I tried a wake to wake shuvit... misseed the board on the landing (for the most part) I knew something was wrong with my pinky toe, got back to the boat... touched it.. it did the 90 degree boogie the wrong way... everyone on the boat freaked..I called the "dial-a nurse" they said I should pop it back and tape it up, it seems fine now..

on another note.. gjpjr84 and I had similar quotes.. Slash was wearing a t-shirt with the manslaughter thing at a Velvet Revolver show in Seattle last year.. I liked it...where did you get yours??

oh you mean my
"You can't have slaughter without laughter!"

I got it from that drawn together cartoon show thats on like comedy central or something.

a strawberry shortcake like character was apparently killing people and thats what she said on the commercial for that episode. and when I created my lovely avatar, I felt that they went together quite well. I needed the space though and took it off, I may put it back on, I don't know yet.
