There's some amazing knowledge. I always wonder, race car drivers on TV are always talking about how to make the car faster, shave off weight, etc. etc., when they are carrying something like 100 lbs. that they don't really need. You think they'd opt for skinnier drivers or something.

Ironically, we, the tax payers, pay for these nonsense-pointless research. Same deal with research pointing to the positive/negative effects of coffee consumption, wine drinking, etc.

That is one of the main reasons that females do so good in the drag bikes in NHRA. The ladies have slightly better reflexes and weigh at the most 150# in their race gear. And they look better.
