Default just got back from nurburgring

Hey everyone, just got back from germany and here's a few pix from the Nurburgring nordschleife (www.nuerburgring.de).

This turn here is right across from where we stayed...

We rented this BMW 320si from www.rent-racecar.de

(if anyone else is thinking of doing this, i highly recommend renting from this guy. His name is Theo, and he's super nice and he'll take you for a lap himself. and no disrepect to Sabine, but Theo i think may be better.)

and this is the front left tire after 3 days (25 laps).

yeah, jeremy did it in a jaguar s-type diesel in just under 10 minutes. and then sabine schmidt did it in a diesel ford transit van in like 10 minutes and 8 seconds or so.

ofcourse theo would be good, what does he do all day, and he's a man, and driving a bmw versus a diesel panal van.

but yeah, i would love to do that...gotta talk my gf into going on vacation there...but it will be a hard sell with no sunny beaches to take her to...

its a tad on the expensive side. we paid $1100 euro for 3 days. but it beats a 2800euro fine from avis or sixt or any other rental car company WHEN they catch you.

he has other cars that are faster, but of course, cost more. this was the only one that could seat more than 2 people (the others are 2 seaters with roll cages. we had 3 people. but it handled like a dream and just make sure you're in the correct gear and the power becomes less of an issue. plus for beginner drivers of the ring, its perfect.

and you need to be at least 25.
