And not only did he become even more famous after the VMA's, he exploited that fame even more by holding back his 'tears' on the Jay Leno Show. The majority of the people who hated him for doing that now feel sorry for him because Jay Leno asked him what his Mom would say. And in case people don't know, his mother is dead, and it was pretty much Kanye's fault.
