You don't need no stinkin' conversion kit. Everything you need is at the Home Depot.

We took a fridge in college, cut out the freezer shelf and bonded the two doors together. Built a frame inside, and then a few other details, bada bing, we got a kegorator for the house that holds a full keg, a pony keg, a fullsize CO2 can, and a couple cases of Guiness.

It was awesome. Build it, and they will drink.

back in the day, my roomate took an old full size fridge, brought home an air tank ( was a body shop mgr ) , and walla: cold beer on tap 24/7. Wasn't pretty, but sure did the job. We'd buy the cheapest stuff we could( still tasted good ), put a plastic keg cap from Lite on top of the fridge, and all the little ladies would be saying "boy this Miller Lite tastes great".... can anyone say "Hamms" ???
Only operational problem we'd have with it?
getting any school work done with that damn tap within reach!

good luck...

We got the tank and regulator from a local gas company or metal shop, I think. It's been a few years, and did I mention, we had cold draught beer in our living room? :D
