Default KK Donut Burger

yes, only here in the midwest...

Here at mph we're always looking for the cutting edge in motoring, even in the fast-food segment. Currently Krispy Kreme is running small scale tests of a new hamburger at a minor league baseball stadium in Illinois. Yes, that's a hamburger patty, slice of cheddar, and two slices of bacon wedged between a glazed Krispy Kreme donut. Doctors are reporting that this is the biggest revolution in fat-delivery since Burger King's Enormous Omelet Sandwich. The originator says the donut burger will be a hit because "It's a meal and a dessert all in one."
The specs:
What Is It? Hamburger/Donut hybrid
How Much? $4.50
Calories: 1,000 (est.)
Grams of fat: 45
Avg eating time: 45 seconds.

well, i used to eat a sandwich made with velveeta cheese, jif pb, and liver sausage ( quite the lip-smacking combo ).....
obviously as i've grown older i've also grown wiser, cuz it's been like weeks since i had one of those specialties....

kinda makes this KK thing sound pretty tempting now doesn't it....

never said i was the brightest bulb in the light factory...

OMG! I was listening to the uncensored comedy channel, RawDog on Sirius and the comedian was talking about excess in this country. He said a burger wasn't enough so let's slap a ham sandwich on it and heck, get rid of the bread and use two donuts. He said "Mark my words, someone will be marketing the Donut Donut Ham Hamburger. Looks like he was right. Just sub the ham for bacon.

My coworker often orders a sandwich with ham, cheese, cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, sweet/spicy mustard AND PB&J. Half of the time the ladies start to make a 2nd sandwich when he gets to the PB&J part and he has to assure them he wants in all together. It's actually pretty good with Roast Beef instead of ham and just the creamcheese, mustard and lettuce... OK and maybe a little jelly...
