Default Knockoff 1gb iPod Nano replica...$54 vs $149, just ordered..

Ok, first off I KNOW this isn't going to be as good as a nano. Its $31.99+$23 Shipping.

I have a 30gb iPod Video that my girl thinks is cool, but wont pay $150 for a nano for sure. So we found this on ebay, and she doesnt care to have the latest and greatest technology, so this should suit her fine. Knock on wood it works ok. haha.

Here are some pics, I will most likely post a review once I get it!

I read some positive things about it in a few forums, and also a few down sides.

So I decided to ordered one, and see how it really is. I should get it in about a week, I just wondered if anyone else has experienced these?

A Few things I noticed about it on forums are...

Pros
-$54.99 vs $149.99 of nano
-Bigger screen than nano
-Does Video, FM Radio, & more formats than Nano supports

Cons
-Uses mini headphone jack
-Sometimes slow interface
-Click wheel doesnt rotate w/ touch like iPod

co-worker has it, not a bad buy, so what if the wheel dosnt rotate, the next and back buttons work jus fine. and as you pointed out nano's dont have radio, cool feature

A lot of these knock-offs CLAIM to have X amount of memory, but show up with like 128MB!

You better hope it's not under 1 gig. I still don't trust these knock off companies, especially ones that say made in China.

Yea, as long as its really 512megs I'd be fine, its just for my woman! haha. She isnt picky and doesnt need a collection of music like me w/ my 30gig! haha. Or maybe I will solder in more memory if possible haha.

I emailed the seller and he replied dont worry, it is 1gb, do not worry...so hopefully he is right.

I think some people were mistaken, or screwed by bad sellers, maybe selling the 256, 512 mb models as the 1gb and changing the firmware to read 1gb maybe. I'll post pics and updates when I get mine!
