A little story about a cool day I had building my tc....
While I am not ready to show photos as my tc is currently being built up for a large show, I thought I would share this story about how I aquired my Sparco Milano seats in my Tc. Well here is the story, enjoy.
A select few that have seen my tc being built up have had questions on why my seats are autographed on the back and who is the autograph from. Here is the story on them.
I went over to my friend’s performance shop “intense motorsports” and talked to Han. I told him that I was going to try to finish the project Tc and one of the things on my list was a set of nice Sparco seats. I was originally interested in the Torino 2 seats but my real dream was for the Milano 2 seats.. but the price at almost a grand each without brackets or sliders was just not happening for me. After discussing with Han, he brought to my attention that he had a Friend named Adam that was selling off a set of MINT Sparco Milano 2 seats with 11 miles on them total. I was like.. 11 miles..? Yeah right.. No one buys seats worth $2600 with sliders and brackets and uses them for 11 miles. I was told they were in a show car specifically built for sema that was crushed after the show. It was an s2000 built in 2004 “some strange law about the first 11 or 12 cars made which are imported in the country” The seats and other items were parted out from the car. Han called the guy, and set the deal right away as Adam and Han were friends, the deal sounded to good to be true but it got better!
The next day, I received an email from Adam with photos and pictures of the seats and they were exactly how he described. BRAND NEW! I was so excited. He left his phone number and I called him the next day to arrange the deal and make payment. We talked for a bit, laughed at some things as any conversation. Very professional nice guy, sounded very well educated and straight to the point but still was good conversation. During the conversation I was looking at photos of the seats asking questions about this and that.. Why only 11 miles, If they really looked as good as the photos… those kind of things. I then happened to notice Adams full name… Vivid images of an amazing purple RX7 drag car and NSX Nitto sponsored drag car filled my head. As well as some of the amazing Sema cars and magazine cars I have seen that a certain guy named Adam owned or built. I just kind of blew it off as a total coincidence he had the same name. The next day he called to let me know the seats were being boxed up and shipped. The name came to mind again and I asked “Hey man, just curious but I noticed you had the same name as the famous Nitto tires drag racer” and I heard a laugh on the phone and he replied.. “Yeah, that is me” I had to ask if he was serious because I was a fan for a long time. And yes he was. I had been chatting with Adam Saruwatari the whole time and never knew it! “For those not into racing, he is a very famous builder and driver” It was a very cool day for me.
While trying not to sound like a total fan boy “which I am” I asked if it would be possible if he could autograph the seats for me and again he laughed a little and said of course, would be happy to. Man I was excited! I called Han at intense and said “you bastard, you did not tell me it was Adam Saruwatari I was talking to!” he laughed and said.. “Oops, did not even think about that, I have known him for years” Anyways that is the story of the Signed Sparco Milano 2 seats in the Garage1217 car.

I cannot leave ya totally hanging on the 1217 car... Here is a sneak peak of the new engine bay colors.... This was a test run and it came out flawless. It is colorchanging BIG time. Changes from Blue, red, purple to bronze... Very VERY cool in person to see! This is just a sneak peak like I said. I set it on the engine before I left to see what it would look like... some may love it and some may hate it... I LOVE IT!!!!

Hey guys. About the story above, you wanted to see pics, this is the quickest I could get them. Here is a link to photos of the car I was talking about, the car they came out of with 11 miles on it

And literally, they ARE those seats. You are looking at the same set that I had autographed. They came out of that car
