Marriage Proposal... I Need Your Help! *Update with pics*
Ok... So here's the deal. I have been with my girlfriend for almost a year now. We have a huge trip planned for June where we will be spending a few days on her parents yacht in San Fran and then we are flying to Hawaii for a week. The thing is, we go to San Fran on her birthday, June 1st, and then to Hawaii on the 4th. So now my question... When and where should I propose? How should I do it? Should I do something creative or romantic? I'll have the perfect opportunity on her birthday, because we're going to some fancy schmancy restaurant in San Fran, but then again, there's nothing like Hawaii!
Help me out guys! and girls!

I assume you'll see the parents while on the boat or at some point in San Fran?
If you haven't already, it'd be extra sweet if you took the opportunity while there to ask her parents permission. It's not like you need it but it's a nice thing to do and give you extra bonus points with the parents. They would definitely be very impressed.
Gosh, if you could swing asking while at dinner with her parents the next night... that'd be nice.
Good luck and be sure to update this thread with how it all went down and if she was nutty enough to actually say yes, lol.

why is everyone saying wait 10 years, he's 24 ya'll....prime time for men to have kids (if ready, and the 20s is probably the safest age range to have kids -- if you gys want them that is)
which island are you going to????
if you're going to oahu and she likes hiking then wait until hawaii beccccause you and the parents can go to a mtn called diamond head, and do it there. it's a gorgegous view. first ask the parents for permisson, get her something esle for her bday, something kinda of small.

I met a girl on-line in a place called Alphaworld many years ago. I lived in Sacramento, she in Ridgecrest. Talked online for awhile, then on the phone. Finally met in person 2 months later on Halloween. She drove up to Sac. I moved down to Ridgecrest a month later. Proposed to her the following January (kinda, we were sitting on the couch one Saturday morning. She asked when I was gonna propose, so I did).
Have 3 daughters, 8, 5 and 3.
We celebrated our 10th anniversary a couple weeks ago.
Definitely ask her parent's permission first. It's not necessary, but it's tradition, and it scores points, both with them and the girl.

^^That's awesome. Age doesn't mean anything whe it comes to marriage. it's all about the people in volved. there 40 year old men/women that still are not mature enough to marry.
If I was in your shoes, I'd wait 'till one evening on the beach and casually pick up an empty clam shell and say somethin' like "Wouldn't it be neat if there was a pearl in here?" Open it up and look dissappointed, "Nope. No pearl, just this." And then show here the ring sitting in the shell.
Bam. Sex on the beach.
Oh, she might say yes too.

Lol, someday when your old you'll think back on how you came up with your pScion roposal...and it will be asking some guys in the OT secion of a car forum. But yeah, I'd do it in Hawaii if I were you and do the "ask the parents" thing first like everyone is saying.
