just wondering if anyone on here was gonna pick it up over the weekend. i'm still deciding if i should get if for ps3 or 360 (most likely ps3)

i beat the first one a while ago when it came out on ps2, it was a great game.

beat it twice

but if you do either mission for chin or the AN and you have HVT's in that area you wont be able to get them done cause it puts up that stupid no satelite signal crap and if u try to go into it about 6 seconds you blow up.

____es me off that you cant finsih those if you didnt do them b4 helping china, and also if you help one or the other, you cant do the contracts for one of them.

basicaly leaving you at 47-48% complete out of 51%

other than that the game is good, but not allowing you to finish is the sucky part.

oh and do you have all the costumes yet haha

well i have to agree with you murbyrne i am a bit disappointed

don't get me wrong it's a fun game but nowhere near as fun as the original.

scion_jon: yeah i heard about that on the forums - but didn't get that far yet though, kinda playing it on and off. i unlocked a couple of costumes but i'm pretty sure i don't have all of them yet.

in some ways yes ans in some ways no

pretty cool to blow everything up and kill everything, but when the design wasnt fully kinked out and you cant do missions your supposed to and it wont reset or not allow you to do something that you have to its very frustrating.


im stopped at like 95.x% and cannot go any further cause the game will not allow me to go into a certain area

yeah, unfortunately it (mercenaries 2) isn't worth the cash - buy the office season 4 instead - OMG so funny!!! hahaha

 

It was worth the $30 I paid for it on ebay. All in all, I really like blowing stuff up, and I could spend an hour just car jacking people and killing everything. To me the missions are kind of BS. I thought it was going to be more open ended.

 

I just played the demo for 360 yesterday and wasn't a fan. I like the 3rd person Gears of War style point of view, but the rest of the gameplay just wasn't doing it for me.

 

Merc 2 sucked. Major. ___.
