hmm at my store we put out an endcap filled with Michael Jackson's CD's and they literally FLEW off the shelves in 5 minutes, it got to the point where customers were ARGUING for the last couple of CD's and were even selling EACH OTHER the discs after they purchased them.

You can't discredit the man for what he accomplished throughout his career, regardless of his antics off camera. He is, and always will be a legend.

People who wish death upon others are cowards. It just means they don't have what it takes or good reason to do it themselves. Elvis was a great musician. even though i dont listen to any rock songs but when i hear his music at stores or randomly it makes me wanna learn how to play guitar

 

He actually got most of his "rock" inspiration from african american styles of music from that era. That's why he was shunned by most parents in his day... that and his hip swingin' moves and blue suede shoes

I was working on the shop floor and my bud walks by and was like, "Dude, guess who died?" I said, "Farah Fawcette." He was like, "Yeah, someone else too. MJ died." And then he walked away.

For the 2 hours until I could get to a computer I felt like total crap because I could not believe Michael Jordan had died. Then I felt like total crap when I was relieved that it wasn't Michael Jordan. :/
