Teaser, I see where you are coming from, and realize you were not being racist. I also know that there are those in this world who were raised to be over sensative, and look to pick fights with those who so much as mention the topic of race. It is not your fault that you are not "P.C." enough for these people, neither am I. And by God I am happy to have a thick enough skin to take things in stride, instead of crouching in the shadows waiting to pounce on anything that moves. We can't please everyone, but usually the people on the far extremes isolate themselves anyways.

Your pic wasn't soo bad, but the coolie hat is pushing it. . . for many reasons. It would be similar to posting a picture of a black guy with a bucket of KFC, a watermelon, and a caption saying, "my car came with a slave." And that is extremely offensive, and although some may find it funny (as a joke only), it is not something appropriate for a forum.
Something you could relate to, would be pics of a bald skinny sick dude, and a caption saying, "my car cave me cancer."
I'm not insulting you, just trying to explain why it's not that funny. So keep up the good spirits. Comedy is a fickle scene, and it's hard to appease everyone. We're all bound to offend someone in some way at some time, no matter what, so. . .

Some people get legitimatly offended, and some people just want to look like the political correctness hero, and then some people can find the humor to take a poke at themselves once in a while. Throwing playfull pot shots at each other isn't exactly negativity, quite the opposite. I'm Irish and I love jokes involving the drunk Irish stereotype. Many a black person enjoys watching the Dave Chappel Show. The end result between one who can find a little humor and one who takes offence to everything is one tends to be happier then the other. I digress.
Perhaps given the large audience group of these forums it would just be best to just say "oops, sorry guys" and move on.

Because all of you are so politically correct, make sure you don't say "Merry Christmas," you might offend someone. The proper term this year is "Happy Holidays."
