hey all....my friends band, SOUND THE ALARM, just released their first album under Geffen Records (who puts out bands like new found glory, papa roach, lifehouse, eve, nelly furtado, common etc. not a bad label). They are from my home town in PA.

More of the norm to what's going on in music today with emo, though nowhere near as good as the bigger bands.

They look just like every other wannabe rocker kid in America with long, straight hair. Nothing sets them apart. Their sound is nothing but average either.

Not bad, but from the track they have on their website, "Suffocating"...if that's their single, it's not going to do anything for them.

 

not gonna argue with u one bit....

just not everyday a little local band gets signed by a big record label. i used to coach these kids in little league baseball and soccer. they always used to talk about putting a band together. nice to see them succeed in doing so.

 

Yeah, I'm all for a local band getting some exposure. Esp. if you know the people involved.
