So my dorm has bunk beds. Me and a couple friends are watching a movie. I'm on the top bunk and my boy pat is on the lower bunk. I roll over and then all I hear is wood splintering. And I'm thinkin WTF? So my boy Jason is sitting next to us and flys up, grabs the bed and goes "Pat get out now" and I realize whats goin on and go "PAT GET THE F^#$ OUT!" as he gets out the Bunk slams down on the bed bellow me. Heres the messed up part. We were watching the Final Destinations. Final Destination 1, Kids are from Long Island. Final Destination 2. Kids are going to Daytona Beach. Final Destination 3. the Bunk falls on my bed, and we got the heavy butt metal bunk bends held up by wooden posts. It is clear how badly these bunks failed. Ill post pics if people wanna see. I'm wondering what I should do about this. Like I'm pretty freaked out about it.

Oh, and you should call your RA so they don't think you got drunk and effed your beds up.

 

Lol idk but i don't know if I wanna ride my skateboard to class tomorrow. we just realized that bed, made out of quarter inch metal, just bent like it was nothing.

 

We got the RA right after it happened. So he clearly saw it wasn't us that did it. He saw the bed was collapsed.

 

 

Oh, and my roommate filed a request for a new bed post a month ago because it had a slight crack in it.

 

All I can think of is the scene from step brothers with the bunk beds....lol

That's so awesome. Esp because you were watching the FD movies. My big rump has been on those old crappy beds for 3 years now, they haven't killed me yet. *knock on wood*

 

i had a huge splinter stuck in my finger before it was 3 inches long

 

we had those beds in our dorm rooms too and they squeaked like a motha.

once i became an ra, i got the good bed.

^^ I know right. I didn't even jump on the bed or anything. Just rolled over. I'd prolly be dead if it happened while we were sleeping.

 

Where I'm going next year they've got all new dorms....so hopefully I dont have to worry about this.

 

Get a carbon fiber bed.
