Does anyone on here know a good place for finding original source documents? I have to create a DBQ that is due on Monday, and when I say create a DBQ, I don't just mean write the essay. I have to find 10 documents(all from the time period that I write about), explain the significance of each, find 40 definitions related to the prompt, and, write the essay.
My topic is to explain/analyze America's emergence as a world power between 1890 and 1914.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, my main struggle at this point is finding documents. At least 7/10 should be mentioned in the essay, so they need to be relevant.

On top of th epage just scroll through the documents arranged by date.
National Museum of American History
http://americanhistory.si.edu/index.cfm
The National Archives
http://www.archives.gov/historical-docs/
http://www.archives.gov/
Good luck man!

Thanks dude.
I've actually been to the National Archives already, it's just kind of hard to navigate, for me anyway. And another student found a website with a bunch of documents on it. I just knew there were a lot of college age people here so I figured ya'll would have good ideas.
