as i said it on youtube. you thinking wrong. But i do understand you and i do really HATE overdraft fees.

first... you should keep more money there so you cant own nothing.

well i got bank of america but im pretty sure it works the same way over there too.:

you put money in the atm .. it will process it on the next business day.. sat and sunday is not a business day. they process it on monday. you get it on tuesday. if they are slow find another wachovia bank or change the bank to BofA.

when its says : avalaible balance.. that means that much you will have when they process the money... whatever you do from that point.. whatever you will spend, it wont be processed until the next business day.

so if you got $150 on friday on your account. you deposit another 50 bucks. you go to party on saturday. you spend $ 300

that whole money will be processed on monday and you will see the minus 100 dollar plus the overdraft fee on tuesday.
so you got a whole monday morning and early afternoon to deposit another 110 dollars so you will have 10 dollars on the end of the tuesday.

if you have online banking go online where ever u are. and check your balance. check your incomplete transactions and let say.. you got 150 dollars... uncompleted balance: -25 dollars at the gastation.. another -25 dollars at the club.. thats 50.. so 150 minus 50 is a 100.. if you spend more than 100 dollar in the next business day when everything will be processed you will be n trouble and you will be mad at everyone which is funny because u doing it wrong.

 

na i understand what youre saying but with wachovia they wont update anything at all for up to 5 days sometimes and when i need the money by after 3 days or somethin i gotta use it. bank of america when i purchase or deposit it goes in and shows up automatically. thats the biggest problem i had with wachovia cause there was more then a few times which just happened recently when i made a purchase in January for milk and eggs, they just took the money out of my account 2 weeks ago. i dont like how they run their business

 

I got the same problem....I once got a 200overdraft fee for being 5 dollars over. Same situation.

i couldnt even do overdraft protection ha, im one of the ones living paycheck by paycheck for now. Mid march Ill actually be debt free which i cant wait for

 

With my BOA account, when depositing money at the outside ATM machine, they give me my available balance which is like 70% of my total deposit.

If I deposit $900 it will "make" maybe $700 available to me to use right off the bat. Then the other couple hundred deposits in a couple few business days.


I've never once overdrafted... my girlfriend on the other hand is a different story. I've called BOA for her 3 times this year telling them to refund my overdraft fees. They start giving me some BS and ask if i'd like to have overdraft protection from now on.

I just explain to them that theres really no damn need to take $35 for each overdrafted transaction. But you can only really do that if your account is of decent size, otherwise when you threaten to leave them they will tell you to take your $216 and stick it in your pooper.


Anyway, I got overdraft protection that takes the money out of my savings if my checking runs out. If you don't have a savings, you may be able to open a BOA credit card and set that up for your overdraft protection.

 

yeah i have that protection too from the boa credit card.
loose the wachovia. my firend did that too. now hes got boa.

 

you sound like Vin Diesel..I kept trying to listen to you but all I could hear is "I live my life a quarter mile at a time" any who I hear you on the overdraft..but it took you 6 years too understand how the system works? How the heck did you spend over 5000 grand on overdrafts..thats what I dont get.

 

lol just kept gettin ____ed over time after time, but like I said there were times it was my fault for the overdrafts but ive been on the phone with wachovia more then 2 times a month for reasons. and you know if you call more then twice they charge you a fee of $2 or $4 for customer service cause theres only an amount of 2 times you can call for service. thats garbage haha.
