You must have missed the part where the Colts got back in the game on a touchdown that was scored on a drive after possibly the worst over-turn in replay history. The Colts had no business being anywhere close to tying (not winning) the game on that kick. Just keep in mind that the Steelers are basically the same team this year as they were when they went 15 and 1 last season. Their spot in the Superbowl as a 6 seed playoff team is no fluke.
TRUTH!!!

I know some of you are going to dig back through the archives and prove me wrong, but for the most part, there has never been a team go to their own stadium for the Superbowl that I can think of anyway.
These are the closest I know of:

Superbowl XIV Pittsburgh defeats LA Rams @ the Rose Bowl
Superbowl XIX 49ers defeat Dolphins @ Stanford Stadium
Superbowl XXX Dallas defeats Pittsburgh @ Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, AZ.

Don't think Sun Devil Stadium is home turf for the Cowboys? Try coming to a game there when the 'Boys are in town!

See, I knew someone would do it...go back and look at the archives. And yes, the cowboys are big EVERYWHERE! But I don't consider that a homefield stadium ( I was at that game actually...Jan 96!)

Dallas was on a roll at that time. They just won a SB two years earlier...They had a lot of fans...everywhere was a 'home field'.

The real final score to the Seahawks and Steelers game should be REFS 21, SEAHAWKS 10, the refs did a ____ty job on this one.

I agree...The last playoff game the refs TOOK THIER TIME and went over everything as best they could. This game, they just said whatever. Did anyone catch the play where hasselbeck got a flag for low block but it was actually a tackle? On the next Pittsburgh drive, Rothlesberger did THE EXACT SAME MOVE....No flag. And that Rothlesberger *cough* touchdown...the ref was running up saying he was down on the 1/2 yard line, then when 'Roth' moved the ball in, it was a TD. I don't get it.
and don't start saying that I'm mad that the Seahawks lost because I am happy for Pitt, just bummed about the WHOLE SB!

Good call Jallamas! Refs 21 Seahawks 10 (actually 17*cough*damn refs!*cough*) (not counting the missed fieldgoals)

the ball was over the goal line when he was in the air therefore it was a touchdown. It doesn't matter where the ball landed.

Dude....he got stopped like he hit a wall...and fell straight down. How could you go forward and fall backwards? He was laying on the ball as the ref ran up, then pushed it forward. NOWHERE did I see him extend his arm to cross the line. He had it tucked the whole time. He fell 'somewhat' forward which would mean the ball never crossed the line when he was in the air.
And like I said before, I am glad they won!

Must be a Faiders Fan lol! The Seahawks are a good time but they just don't get the spotlight like the rest of the league.
