Olympic Opening Ceremonies

Anyone watch them? It was weird, but there was one part that made up for the weirdness:

Yeah, the Ferrari F1 car was cool, but the whole rest of the opening ceremonies I felt like I was on drugs.

What was up with the people dressed all in white with big white balloons on their heads that made them look like sperm?

The Ferrari was definitely the only thing that I genuinely liked. I missed the sperm people, but I caught the "sparks of passion" with the flaming helmets. I definitely didn't like the whole "bringing paintings to life" thing. After showing the person I was talking to while it was on the actual painting "The Birth of Venus," he said, "yeah, that's what I saw," and I think that about sums it up.
