Has anyone tried this service? Someone recommended it to me the other day (b/c work is blocking all of the other ones ).

It's pretty cool. You can create multiple "stations" and each starts with an artist or song name. Then it plays items it thinks you'd like based on that and you can say yes or no and it'll change it's recommendations accordingly. The recommendations are based on their research of the Music Genome Project (info on the same site). They analyzed all of this music for it's roots and influences and such in order to give better recommendations...

Anyways, I've been playing around with it and have heard some decent stuff I've never heard of. So it's at least cool for getting new ideas I think...

I messed with it for a while... but had kinda forgotten about it till I saw mention the other day. pretty good stuff.

 

I love it, but its taken about a month to make it quit playing crap.

 

thats a great setup, listen to it at work all the time, that and live 365, a guy at work subscribes to live 365.
