anyone into them, i just saw them in Berlin this PAst summer, and they were amazing live, the lead singer brian was amazing... The whole Set was so Raw,

The energy was amazing, and some of there lyric's i think are down right INSANE!

yeah they are pretty good i didnt even know who they were until i seen this skateboard video and one of there songs was in it but they are deff good

 

they have been around since like 1996.. when i lived in london in 98, They were HUGE, and you could buy there albums Everywhere...

i came back to the State's and you couldnt get the album here, it was not out yet. i guess now there starting to get some Attention in the state's.

 

I remember seeing them at a show back in 98/99. The radio station sponsoring the concert played "Pure Morning" throughout the month leading up to the show and I haven't heard from Placebo since.

 

i know! it sucks, they dont get much US Radio play

^^The only thing close to commercial for them was "Every Me and Every You" on the Cruel Intentions Soundtrack.

 

uhm...were IS placebo??? I thought he would be all over a thread like this...but yes, they are amazing, something you rarely see in a band now.

 

They have had lots of singles out in the UK, not one of them has crossed over, Except for that soundtrack song

I love placebo obvisouly but never saw them live. They also had a song at the end of Fight Club I forgot what it was.

 

The song is called Fight Club Opening Theme -- played at the end of the movie --hmmm

 

Placebo rocks! I would love to see them in concert. I've got all their albums and several of their DVDs.

:edit: Nope. That song, like most of the movie's music, is done by the Dust Brothers. Placebo did a cover of a Pixies song "Where is My Mind".
