Default popping/crackling wonderful exhaust sounds...

Ever noticed how the SRT4 has that popping crackling sound when decelerating? Is that unique to just that model or maybe turbo charged cars in general?

The closest I could find like that for the tc was a tsudo midpipe trd or maybe it was dezod exhaust. Just wondering what you all think or even if you have noticed what I'm talking about.

Your talking about baffle/backfire. Dezod has a small grumble to it.

also the srt-4's does not have a muffler or any sort of resonators... its just a turbo and exhaust tubing and nothing else...

With my exhaust (megan header/spipe custom mid with a resonator and injen axle back) it does the popping while decelerating in 1st gear, 3rd gear and quite alot but quietly in 5th. For some reason 2nd and 1st dont really do it and 3rd barely does it.

What I think is awesome is when the car is still warming up, if I shift at around 4k it makes a very noticeable pop sound, like an antilag. LOL. So poser, but it does sound sick. Especially between two walls.

But yea, it's usually boosted cars and big exhaust tubing that causes the crackle/pop. But i'd rather my car not sound like that as badly as SRT4's do. It's quite annoying

How much louder is the Dezod catback than the TRD?

I want the Dezod sound with the TRD noise level.

I have a Borla axle-back and it seems to do it quite a bit in 1st and 2nd once you get below 2500 rpm.
