Who else finds it irritating that when you look at a review for a product and see someone gave it 1 star and you start to read why and they are actually praising the product insted of talking bad about it. I don't know about you but that is really anoying. Any one else find it quite anoying?

 

Yes. I find it annoying I was on tire rack last night and was reading the bad reviews of a tire and half of them gave it terrible ratings for dumb thing.

1.) if you like the product then rate it appropriately dont give it 1 or 2 out of 10 then tell everyone it was a great tire only to say that at the end you would buy it again but wish it was q few dollars cheaper

2.) dont review something on someoen else's car. you cant give an honest assessment after a ten minute drive

Product reviews have to be "taken with a grain of salt" so to speak. Like when you see a review with a single star rating, but when you read it you find out that the person is all ticked off about some shipping issue. He hasn't even received the item! Or, after reading the review, it becomes obvious that the person was using the item incorrectly and it didn't work for them. Therefore, it's "a piece of junk". Sometimes you can spot the legitamte reviews written by people who actually own the item and who have more brain cells that a fruit fly.

 

reminds me of all the reviews i'm reading for the HD-DVD player i bought a lil while back.

"GREAT PICTURE! WORKS NICE!! EASY TO SET UP!! but takes FOREVER to load" = 1 star.
