Yup.. i reserved and am going to put it right on eBay and make 100% profit... wish i had extra cash.. i would buy four of them.. sell three.. that would pay for the fourth and I'd keep the fourth plus extra cash...

 

i'm gonna camp out in line somewhere and get it that way. might split the cost with my friend and sell it on ebay, make a profit, and buy 1 for each of us. of course we run the chance of not getting one after we sell it cuz i'm sure they'll be sold out for months after the first day

 

Ah, i was gonna go reserve one when i found out the date was finally here. But then, i orginally just wanted one so i can sell it on ebay, but i dunno if i'll have time to do that, Eventually i'm going to get one, but i just dunno when yet. I'm gonna wait for a bit when it first comes out to c if theres any bugs that need to b resolved, and hopefully that price will drop, hehe.

If its anything as worthless as my Ps2, count me out. Ive never had any probs with my Xbox in the 5 years that ive had it. Ive had a Ps2 for only about 3 months and it is absolutley useless.

 

jeez i hate the people that wait on line just to sell these things. There are actually people out there who want the system to enjoy it!!!

 

If it's $600 bucks, and made by SONY.

Count me in cause it even sounds worth it.

 

I saw many of the launch titles for PS3 at this years E3. Nothing jumped out at me and made me feel like I HAD to buy it... especially for $600. I'll wait. There's plenty of cool stuff coming out for the 360.

One thing that I did think was pretty cool was the PS3 Formula One game allows you to hook your PSP up to it and use it as the rear view mirror...just sit it in your lap, or prop it up under your screen. Pretty cool. (but not cool enough to make me buy one)

 

i feel like a looser... im getting the nintendo wii since it comes out on my b-day (Nov. 19) and its cheap

 

hey, we share the same bday. And don't feel bad about getting the wii, Nintendo always makes fun games. And IMO, a game should be fun before it looks pretty. I'll probably buy a wii before i get a PS3.

 

No preorder from me, and I too get ____ed off at guys who buy one then sell it on e-bay. Those who really want one, get screwed by those types.
By the way Im hoping since I work at a small wal-mart 30 miles away from a big city, my chances will be greatly improved.
Plus I'll get 20% off the price.

 

It's pretty expensive and I dont game enough to need one. I bet when it comes out the price for the 360 might come down a little. Might get me one of those tho.

 

not sure why you think the ps2 is worthless. I owned the regular ps2 and the slim ps2 and never had a problem. remember when 360 first came out and all the recalls. not fair to say just because yours was crap that all ps2's and 3's are

 

they're being really strict when it comes to reserving the ps3. only one per household and if you reserve one at different locations, they will find that out and drop ALL your reservations. they're doing it because of people selling it on ebay.

 

+1 i loved my original PS2. it finally gave in last year after all the hurricanes and tropical storms we had in FLA. i was stuck inside and basically that was my only entertainment as long as we had light. it finally gave in and i bought myself a slim one. ps2's are still pretty kick azz

 

^exactly. I got my original ps2 about 4 years ago and it was still as good as the first day I got it. I sold it to a friend about 2 years ago and bought me the slim ps2. I still play that thing all the time with no troubles at all. definitely gonna pick me up a ps3

 

I am wondering how you will be able to transfer saved games from ps2 to ps3 if there are no memory slots, everything is on a Hard drive now.

 

I played with the PS3 Sunday @ the DigitlLife show in NYC...looks better in person, and the graphics are pretty hott...but i'll stick to my 360 for now..

 

archangel they are releasing a transfer device. Its $15 i think. But it will transfer the entire contents of your memory card to the ps3 hard drive. Silly thing is, it will be a one time use thing.
My advice tell a friend who gets a ps3, that they must buy it. Then ask to bowwow it.

 

one time use? meaning it will erase the memory off the card? or you can only use it once , because if you can only use it once how can you borrow it?
