With all these new record meets occuring I think we need to get Scion corp, Scion Life Involved in a Record Event of Scions. If any of you guys read autoblog they have been a lot of record on Ferrari's Pagani's Mini's getting together

Id say like 500 or 1000+ Scions somewhere in the Middle section of the USA so everyone can attend equally. Lets get into the Guiness Book of Records yall :D

 

I've been seeing those too. The difference IMO though is the rich history of the other 3 companies - though the Scion culture is pretty impressive for such a new company, so it might work.

 

Yea... I think it's certainly possible... hell... our crew has at least 30 showing @ Exposed Chicago, and that's not counting the other Illinois crews, or the neighboring states.

Well it'll be easy to do the first time, I think - since there's no current record (that I know of). So it would probably have to be done big to make it work... plus you'd have to find a place that could accommodate the #s and traffic - Something like Mid-Ohio raceway comes to mind based on the size (2.5 miles or so?) so you could use the parking lots to meet up and then see how long of a parade we can do around the course...

 

Scion Exposed is at Mid-Ohio raceway on June 23rd.
That's only a 6 hour drive from Corning, and 7 hours from MD... so there's no excuse.

Let's go big on the 23rd.

 

Ya, I was at the 2005 Exposed at Mid Ohio.

This is something you'd have to plan separately though and notify the records people (I think) ahead of time. We'd pretty much need the whole place to ourselves, so Exposed might not work anyways b/c last I knew, that's scheduled around other events so it would be pretty packed.

 

That's true... I'd like to see this happen though.

 

I'd probably go as far as OH or TN/KY area for something like this. Maybe a little further. But that's tough b/c there are a LOT of Scions on the west coast too, so you'd have to find a good spot. Maybe somewhere around St Louis?

 

HMm possibly that or somewhere like Nebraska(NE) or Kansas (KS)

Ha, ya... definitely a bit more East... but I was thinking that type of facility mostly.

 

if , well wherever it is i say we have a two day or three day . yup yup.

 

I say we just torch a cornfield in Nebraska or something and do it there.
