Rednecks xB, Thread full of awesome, offtopic, and fail
Fail, INC approved thread!
So after working on the body of this car for to long (july 07/may 09, hell atleast I took my time and did it right )I finally decided upon a paint scheme... My roommate is an artist and was helping me with the sketching, and just out of the blue the idea of abstract art took off, so... about 24 hours of hand painting went into this, but without further adieu, I give you the new look for The ROFL Box.
Pics are with Spr0k3t
Sign in the background was jsut kind of ironic, so it had to be done...
Set up at Ames for a good while like this
Then took the cover off
And hell it worked for a Gixxer

it will look perfect in the special olympics celebration parade.
i kid lol. that is actually pretty cool. definitely all your own. it's a little out there, but not in a bad way and doesn't look ricey at all.
nice work. one question... is it getting clearcoated or staying just like that?

No clearcoat... the chips can either be fixed very, very easily or just add character to the paint job as the colors overlap
cant tell you how many times Ive heard that
The greatest part of the paint job was the price... The paint was all donated to the project simply by checking the left overs in the basement. Yes its all interior latex and oil based... so whats the big deal... this only cost me $25.72, and $20 of that was Pizza and beer, the rest was tape and brushes

Lol, looking good man. I like the whole scheme you got going on there. Kind of makes my box look somewhat sane.

I actually stole a little bit of a quote from you today... someone asked how I came up with the idea and I said "A box of crayons gangraped my car"
