Okay, the hardest songs in Rock Band 2...BLOW! They're seriously horrible songs (cept for Battery). I'm ____ed because I loved the top tier songs in RB1 .

Chris, we gotta play sometime, do you have any instruments other than guitar? I always play with my friend Sean and he can do Bass/Drums/Sing, I'm stuck playing guitar because that's all I have and I just got my Canadian friend to play with us lol.

Btw, we have the greatest band name of all time.

Moose Knuckles!

That's a great name...

Our band in RB1 was Captain Planet and the Planeteers.

RB2 picked a band name for me and the people I had over the night I got it: Estimated Power. More like Estimated Fail.

Something I've noticed about RB2 is that there are a lot more songs that make me go "I never, ever want to play this song again, and I'm going to completely phone in playing it just to get to the next song" than there are in RB1. Really, the only song that I absolutely cannot stand playing in RB1 is Fall Out Boy. I've already found the Paramore song (which is upsetting, because I like some Paramore songs) to be monumentally irritating, there was an audible groan from everyone that was over when One Step Closer came on, and we actually turned the music off the second time we had to play Panic At The Disco. As pretty as RB2 is... it's not shaping up well with the new songlist.

I can pretty much do anything on Expert with mediocre-to-great success now. I've taken a fancy to playing drums while singing, though, because I found a mic stand attachment that fits the RB microphone. I'll be in Kansas City tomorrow, and I'm bringing RB/RB2 with me; are you going to be on tomorrow?

There are a lot of songs I hate, but there's a lot that I love, that I didn't expect to really enjoy playing. So far, Alive, Today and Everlong are by far my favorite songs to play.

I need to get a copy of RB1 so I can import a bunch of those songs.

Yes I'm always on, as you have probably noticed :D.

The chords in Everlong are a workout (just like Monkey Wrench), but they're completely fun if you can nail them. I really like the Elvis Costello song, too.

Isn't it like $5 to import all the songs (except Enter Sandman )?

Yeah, but I don't know if you can use a disc twice. If you can, I'm borrowing my friends game and importing everything, minus about 15 songs.

I don't see how it would know if the disc was used twice.
Not like it's writing anything to the disc.

Freaking wow. Either the cold I have makes me sound awful, or Rock Band 2 is super picky with vocals.

RB2 vocals are way easier this go around. Every song has been FC'd already 100% and www.rockband.scorehero.com we have all the optimal vocal paths almost complete already as well... Many reason's why its easier this go around the most obvious is they fixed the broken talky engine from RB1...

Borrow your friends it will work i havent tried but it will work guaranteed i think its part of the reason why they are charging 5 bux to import the tracks...

Jesus christ. I forgot how physically taxing drumming on expert is for more than a couple of setlists. It feels like I had a stroke on my right side, and I'm drenched in sweat.

Or I'm just horribly out of shape. Either one.

EDIT: Oh yeah, that was me that was making that obnoxious noise. I found that stupid plug that you need to plug the headset into the drum kit (how hard was it to just make the headset plug in directly?), but I think I'm plugging it in wrong or something.
