Who will be getting a copy tommorow? I'm going to EB Games first thing in the morning.

GTA followed a story where in Saints Row you join gangs, creare your OWN character, customize any car, and its completely free will. In GTA you have to do things to progress, in Saints Row you beat the game how you want to

 

Do they make it for Xbox?

 

I don't think so. If it's successful they might. I know rockstar is releasing a game called "Bully" Next month. It plays like GTA except your a kid in a prep school.

I almost forgot. In the demo I played, one of the car's is called an "aqua" but it's cleary the video game knockoff of an XB. So awesome. Drives like an XB too!

 

If they don't make it for xbox I can't play it .

 

Hey you vould trade in the xbox and pay the difference for a new 360!

It's waaaaay worth it, expecially when forza 2 comes out, it has scions

 

The xbox is worth like $130, a 360 is like $400, still too much for me, I'll just play this and Forza 2 at my friends house...

well, guess its time to upgrade to the 360, think the wife will be mad if I go ahead and get it with the a 60" dpi tv???

 

alright, get this... i just posted about how i was going to try and figure a way to get one and i was going to talk to my wife about it, well, this is what she had for me when she got home:











so, now i have to clean our back room that has been used as a storage area to move the entertainment center so we can get the 60 inch to put in the front room. that was her plan, get me the 360 so i would clean up... sweeeeeet, i like cleaning up now

my game tag has been zereaux for about 6 years now, haven't really been playing games much. I didn't even go to quakecon this year

I'll be getting everything setup this weekend. I'm going to get a hdtv to hook it up to.

 

I got SR on preorder, but haven't gone and picked it up yet. Dead Rising sucks, I was going to trade it in, but forgot it and left it at home. So I guess I'll go get it tomarrow.

 

Ive been playing it nonstop its way worth it. It plays very very similar to GTA but IMO its waaaay better.

Played the demo. it was pretty tight, I might get it later.

 

I went and pick up Saints Row after work yesterday. I played the game for 4 hours and only had 20% of the game complete. Today I beat the Rollers missions and started the Vice Kings missions. Online game play was awesome.

I think the game is 10 times better then GTA (IMO). I'm going to jump on and play more missions later after dinner.

Im 13% through, partly because Im OCD and must do everything in order.

One thing I dont understand is the respect meter. Im assuming that you must have 1 full bar of respect per mission you do correct?

That is correct. I think it is pretty cool how they did that.
