actually, last i'd heard from Darren, it was closer to 3000*, which, interestingly was pretty close to the number you had, multiplied by spouses!

Well, if 3000* is a more correct raw number, that still means the remaining folks have like a 1:20 chance of winning, which is really decent odds. Better than you can get in most anything other sweepstakes! (And how many car companies would be doing this sort of thing, anyway? With the "Exposed" events and this massive thing, Scion is really unique.) :D

Heheheh... When comparing the number of winners from , say, CA and ND, one must remember that there are hundreds of times more Scions in CA than in ND... :D

Some parts of the country have a pretty good density of Scions, others don't. (I saw two in Montana!)

I wish everyone could win, so I could meet 'em all, but it just can't happen.

What if you just wanted to attend and pay your own way there? In case we are Miami Losers, can you buy tickets to still be there?

One out of every 9 people in the US lives in California. Since we have a higher incidence of Scion ownership ( I would imagine) it would not be surprising to have at least 10% of the winners coming from the Golden State. This should be quite an event. Hope the coverage is at a high level for all of us who are left behind.

Last I heard even winners can not get their wives or girlfriends into the events, including the after party.

The third wave of winners still says 'incomplete'. Is it, really, or is that just old?

From the Rules:
In the event of noncompliance with these Official Sweepstakes Rules, or if the Winner cannot be contacted at the address on his or her entry form within the time requirements, or if Notification is undeliverable or delayed, Prize will be forfeited and an Alternate Winner may (in Sponsor’s sole discretion) be selected in a random drawing. If an Alternate Winner cannot be verified within ten (10) days following the first (1st) Notification to any potential Winner, the airline portion of the Prize may remain unawarded due to advance ticketing requirements and no substitute Prize will be awarded; similarly the event and hotel portion of the Prize may remain unawarded in the event the applicable Winner(s) cannot be verified and finalized before the applicable event, and no substitute Prize will be awarded.

I say all the people that end up loosing should show up anyway and crash the party. Just rush the gates.
