No. The body kit wasn't available, actually. So that's stock. I upgraded the springs (medium in the front, stiff in the rear) and the sway bar (stiffest). I'm going to get the body kit as soon as my room mate can track one down. Hopefully, that's before Scion Invasion, but he says its not being shipped yet. So I doubt that'll happen. Oh well, at least I got the car :D

Just like a body kit for a real car: purely cosmetic replacements for the bumpers and sideskirts. It'll be out real soon, but it's apparantly not in stores yet. I'm guessing since the car made it, the kit will be RIGHT behind it. Believe me, I'll have one the DAY they hit shelves. :D

 

im guessing that the kit might be the kaminari, and if we get lucky, it'll have a widebody kit too like the 350z had. maybe we'll have the kreative import technology widebody.

mild = Bumper w/OEM Lip Kit
wild = Kaminari full bodykit or KIT widebody

 

The body kit package will come with front and rear bumpers, side skirts, hood, and rear wing. I doubt it will be exactly like any real body kit available for the tC, but I could be wrong. It didn't say in the product description catalog that it was modelled after a real brand's product. This much is certain: it will be a full-on body kit, not like the OEM lip kit, like I'm sporting IRL.

 

sounds like it will be tha kaminari or kaminari "inspiried' (ei: knockoff )
kaminari is the only one i know of that puts out a full matching set like that.

or it'll just be an amalgamation of everything.....

 

I'm guessing an almalgamation. Either way, I'm sure it'll look sweet. All the other XMods models' body kits looked awesome.. I'm just glad to get the car before Invasion. :D I'm going to accost serious batterys from Office Services tomorrow at work :D

 

the 350z had a veilside kit, and the skyline and supra had bomex and c-west. so kaminari might be it.

 

dang....lucky! I used to work at a RadioShack and I just called up an old friend that works there still. As of right now, there are NONE in our region (St. Louis).

I went to RS and they told me that on thursday they are receiving merchandise and it's posible that they have it then.

my lil bro went into a RS the other day and he said that they had the body kit for the tC but not the actual tC starter set. im going to go around to a few today. im thinking that they get their shipments in around thurs or fri so they are stocked up for the weekends.

 

Went and checked today. Still no tC.

 

the G35 has the Kenstyle and another one, and the XMODS have "always" had "real" body kits. Near me, they aren't coming out till some "____ Friday" sale. I'm too cheap to get one then, so I'll get my Lan EVO for $30 and wait till the tC is a lil older to get it...Unless they come out with an xA I won't buy one first day.

 

Since the xA is a non-seller in full size, I doubt a 1/28 scale will be made
