Scions and Gays
I was looking somewhere around Miami or Ft Lauderdale I would imagine that the rent is ungodly in Miami though? I don't want to live in a broom shack lol but I don't want to live in a mansion either just like a one bed room whats that gonna run me?

I'm one of Stu's homo friends! He's a hella cool guy, sweet tC too.
Dan, good luck if you plan to move down to Florida. A big part of me wants to pick up and move away from the Mid-A but like you, I want to make sure I have stuff set up properly in whatever area I choose to move to...a job, a place to live, things like that.
The last thing I want is to move to a place in the middle of nowhere too. Living between Baltimore and DC my whole life has given me the need to be near things. I could never live in the country or anywhere less than completely modern and suburban.
I guess I have time to think about it.

Kev, this east coast of Fl is so built-up you can drive north from Florida City, near Key Largo
and go a hundred miles north and never be more than two miles from a McDonald's (practically)
Its very dense, this sprawl.

I dont know about the whole pat on the butt thing... might frighten me..
Florida huh? Wonderful place.. not my flavor cookie though.. too many hurricanes and bad weather. I lived in Georgia for four years.. nothing like the Georgia rain.
Ugh.. Saturday night and I'm forced to do nothing... I guess this moment in time.. I'm faced with a dilema.. go get more booze.. or just sit around and wonder why I didn't.. hmm.. I think some more Hennessy is on the list.. I will return.
lol Reid, that sounds good. Too bad I don't eat at McDonalds :D
But on a more realistic note, I don't know if I could take the climate change. It already gets too hot for me up this way during the summer. I can't stand heat and humidity. On the other hand, it would be nice not to have to worry about snow anymore. Decisions, decisions.
Stu: I hope you're bringing me back something.

Kev, here its six months of perfection and three months of warm and three months of hot, sticky. or maybe four... whatever adds up to thirteen months per year. (duh)
Uh, how hot does it get in your town? Mia/Ft. Lauderdale rarely see 93 or so at the peak. Add five or six degree for west coast and inland, and no breezes there. East coast is probably doable for you. In balance, we don't freeze in winter. No salt on the roads, no snow tires, no double wardrobe.
Come to the South in the summer, a drive, see the temperatures rise/fall as you journey.
New York is killer in July. Miami's much nicer then than NYC or even Jersey... by day.
but at nighttime it stays sticky/hot here. We all have ac though.

And now we know why the straight boys have really been haunting the ___ thread...waiting for the lesbians!!
Reid: It sounds nice! I don't want to get my mind set on one area or another though. In all honesty, I'll go wherever my career takes me; provided it's not to some crap hole.

I'm ___. All the comments that I've gotten on the tC from other ___ guys have been nothing but positive. Then again I doubt your going to find another tC owner that spends as much time cleaning his car and making it look good as me.
*realizes he washes his car 3 times a week*
